G Chat November 1, 2019

Staff Parish Committee regrets that Gail Stone, our Office Administrator is resigning her position as of Nov. 19.  Gail has upcoming hand surgery and circumstances that necessitate her leaving us.  We gratefully acknowledge the care and service that she has graciously given and will be wishing her well in her retired life!
As we proceed in searching for Gail’s replacement, we would appreciate you passing on Coke’s Chapel’s interest in hiring just the right person who has computer/office skills and interest in a part-time position, 3-days a week.  For more information direct inquiries by email to: sproffice@cokeschapel.org

Prayers for God’s direction as we seek to fill this vital position.
Margie Jones, SPR Chair

Old Testament Words for Today

Even the title “OLD” may discourage us from thinking that there are important and current teachings that we can embrace.  The books of the Old Testament give us history, story, teaching’s that are full of insight, valuable revelations about who God is, and what God is about then and today.

Join us on Sundays,  November 10, 17 and 24 as we get in touch with some of the rich Words given for our spirit and life!

Cokes Family Values…. You!
God established the church to be the body of Christ in the world. As a part of the Cokes family, everyone is important to our ability to be the church.  Cokes seeks to fulfill Christ’s commission by serving, witnessing, giving/tithing, worshipping together, and praying together.  It takes all these parts to make the whole church as she was designed to function.

Each of you count towards our faithful response to God’s plan for Cokes Chapel! We use your Giving Card and Service Sheet for the planning of Cokes for 2020.  Some have not turned in their card/sheet.   Stewardship has extended the deadline so everyone can respond.  You count!  God Counts on Us!

Additional cards and service sheets are available at the office and in the narthex.  Get yours turned in today, so we can prepare for the future of Cokes ministries. Questions?
