OUTREACH / MISSIONARIES
The Ad Council recently approved a plan to support Allie and David Houles who have committed to a five-year term at Blessing Home in Pattaya in Thailand. Allie is the daughter of Jerri and Mickey Statham and attended Cokes Chapel as a child; and Amanda and Matt Hadden and family who are currently serving the Oglala Lakota people in South Dakota. Amanda is the granddaughter of Sandy and Pete Cavender.
Since funding for this is not a budgeted expense, Outreach/Mission has plans for some fundraising events to raise the pledged amount. Outreach is hosting a dinner/silent auction on Aug. 11th to kick-off funding the Houles’ and Hadden’s.
Pray now, for them, for us, as we begin our fundraising to support them. Questions? Contact Betsy Bagley: ebbagley@gmail.com.
