The Jubilee Singers

Newnan Hospital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

244 East Broad Street

Newnan, GA 30265

Newnan Hospital Nursing & Rehabilitation Center provides professional care for those needing skilled nursing services. Formerly known as Beaulieu Convalescent Center, the Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has been serving Coweta County since 1966.

Each Wednesday morning at 10:30 the Jubilee Singers visit the center to sing, pray, and visit with the residents.  After the visit, the singers enjoy lunch together at a local restaurant.  Good singing voices are not required – just a desire to “make a joyful noise together.”

In 2014 the Jubilee Singers were selected as the Group Volunteer of the Year by the Georgia Health Care Association.

Meals on Wheels

30 Bledsoe Road

P.O. Box 73437

Newnan, GA 30271

Coweta County’s Meals on Wheels program delivers fresh, hot meals to older homebound people in need.  We have a Cokes Chapel team that delivers these prepared meals on the first, third, and fifth Tuesdays of each month.

The clients appreciate the service provided by the program.  However, the members of the Cokes Chapel Meals on Wheels team report that they receive an even greater blessing by participating in the program and by developing relationships with the clients.

If you want more information about our MOW team, contact Betsy Bagley  @ ebbagley@gmail.com.

Celebrate Recovery ministry is a Christ-centered program that helps people overcome life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups.  It helps people deal with issues of abuse, addiction, anger, dependencies, divorce, and more through Biblically-based principles and a 12-step process.

The group meets at Sonrise Church every Thursday.  At least twice a year a group from Cokes Chapel provides and serves a meal for the participants.

Cokes Chapel Prayer Team

The mission of our prayer ministry is to touch and involve each person in our congregation with prayer, and through each person carry that ministry into the community in which we live.

Weekly Prayer Meeting – Every Wednesday evening at 5:30 p.m. we meet in the Fellowship Hall to pray.  We update and add new requests to the prayer book as we pray for our church family, church meetings and events, community concerns, world leaders, and events.  If you would like to be involved in this important ministry, please join us.
