United Methodist Women (UMW):
UMW will meet on Thursday morning July 15th at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Members are reminded to read chapter 2 in our study book. We agreed at the last meeting to conduct a group discussion on the content. We will meet for fun, food and fellowship at Big Joes after the meeting. All women are invited. We will invite Pastor Carson to attend this meeting to introduce him to our group.
UMW would like to thank the members of the congregation for their contributions to the celebration events over the last month. You are all greatly appreciated!
United Methodist Men (UMM):
UMM will meet on Saturday morning August 7th at 8:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
The Cokes Chapel United Methodist Men’s fellowship includes ALL the men in the church, so if you haven’t received a UMM meeting update from me please email Cliff Seyler at cliffcfc14@gmail.com and I’ll add you to the list. Thank you!

Cokes Chapel was blessed by another eagle project this weekend by Scout Dylan Thomas. This project basically removed the barrier of debris between the traditional cemetery and the unmarked cemetery, provided space for a cross shaped post for a historical marker type sign, and cleared a pathway down the center. Scouts and volunteers also removed all of the large branches and debris in the unmarked cemetery area. There are 2 more scouts that have planned projects at Cokes Chapel in the future. One to repair and clean the gazebo, the other to add 23 more crosses to mark the other graves.
