June 28, 2019 G Chat

THIS Sunday, June 30th; we will gather at 10:00am for our unified worship in the sanctuary. (Make sure to check with your Sunday School class to see if they are going to meet at 9am before the service at 10am).

Then about 11:30am we’ll gather for a  covered dishes salad lunch in the worship center.  Bring your Chicken salad, Tuna Salad, layered salad, Mama’s favorite salad.

Plan to drop off your covered dishes between 9:30 – 9:55am at the Worship Center.  Greeters will be there to take your dishes & place it in the serving line.  If your food needs to be kept cool, please bring it ready to serve in a cooler & we will place foods on the table after worship.

Bring a friend, enjoy some great worship together and enjoy the blessings of being a community that has fun together!

It’s that time of year to begin collecting school supplies for those who are unable to afford them.

Beginning next Sunday, June 30th – July 28th, we will provide plastic bins in the Narthex and Worship Center to collect these items.  Any and all school supplies will be greatly appreciated.

This summer, your youth will have the opportunity to serve by assisting the Cokes Chapel Childcare Center (CCCC) with “Water Days” any time through July 26th.  The CCCC needs volunteers to entertain the kids by playing with them during their water activities.  (The teachers do not get wet, so the extra help is needed, and the kids will LOVE having the youth there to get wet and interact with them!)  This is an opportunity for our youth to serve others while having fun! For more information, contact Kim Reindl at  kreindl@cokeschapel.org
·   Dates:  Monday-Friday; June 3rd-July 26th
·   Times:  10:00 AM and 3:00 PM each day

·   Please let me if your youth is willing to volunteer and if so, what dates and times.
