PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE
The envelopes are out, the prayers are ongoing, and everyone is being asked to help build up the body of Christ by returning your Confidential Giving and Service card to the blue boxes in the Narthex,        Worship Center table, or the office.

Reflecting on our past, looking around at how much God is doing in and thru us, and praying about what God is calling us to do is a communal, heartfelt process.  Thank you for making Cokes the amazing church is already is!

Our future is in God’s hands, that is for sure.  Will you join hands and help in planning and doing whatever it is that God is calling us to for 2019?  Turn in your Giving and Service Cards by October 28 if possible, and plan now for our Celebration covered dishes lunch on Sunday, Nov. 11th in the Worship Center at 11:45.

Weekly “Recollection” Update, Week 4This week our classes focused on “Who Are We Narratively?”  For homework, participants were asked to write their individual faith stories.  In class, people had the opportunity to share their favorite stories of the Bible and to share stories of their experiences here at Cokes Chapel.  It’s been remarkable to hear so many stories of how people have been loved and supported by the folks here at Cokes Chapel.  Furthermore, it is meaningful to know that we can share stories of challenge and disappointment as well, acknowledging that such is also part of what it means to share life together.  Through it all, we are seeing the depths of the bonds that hold us as a church family.  We are seeing how God has been with us all along, strengthening, teaching, and loving us through one another!
